the fifth logo design are the one I like most between all five, it looks more striking and energetic.

That's really a nice version for the Icon. But I would make it not that dark.

@Mario: How should the artwork be licensed? CC or GPL or ...?

I would change to LXDE-Logo in the Lubuntu Logo to be more gray like the original (Like described above). I also would change the shadow of the lettering "lubuntu" to be more blue, like the Rest of the Logo. So they chime together.

Hey, thats awesome. "LXDE the Desktop Environment with a global community", is very well implemented. But i would suggest two things. At first the yellow lines, yellow is not really a "LXDE color". I would suggest the blue of "lubuntu", or the gray of the LXDE-Logo. The second thing is the LXDE-Logo, i think there should be a LXDE-Logo on the wallpaper. But altogether it's a nice and very creative idea :).
