'autohide'

Post by tpprynn »

Hello. I have searched this here and through ddg, thinking it would be a common wish.

Can the LXDE panel be made to move out of the way for programs starting in a maximized window? I have altered Opera's desktop file so that it opens maximised but ideally I would get the F11 look for it and a few other programs such as WPS Writer.

Those three bottom settings for LXPanel remain a mystery to me after many years. I don't miss Unity at all but can something like 'intellihide' be emulated?

Currently using Lubuntu 18.04.1.

Thanks.

did you get anywhere with this?
i wouldn't know what else to recommend other than lxpanel's own preferences.
although maybe openbox's application rules couldbe used to achieve more...
