That's why GNU coreutils is specifically required since all of those commands have different parameters on different *NIX systems. It's only possible to support GNU coreutils.

hi, what i need to compile pcman?
i get this error.... the last lines says...

how about adding infozip to the list for compressing and uncompressing the same way coreutils was added

I know tar.gz is the way for most Linux/UNIX source packages, but a lot of windows types that want to start using Linux are going to be more familiar with .zip extensions - I would be more than happy to test this option out
