USB Drives Not Mounting

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why I can't get a usb portable drive to mount when I first login to LXDE and plug the drive in, I always have to log out then log back in and it works.

It will never work the first time I login.

Forgot to mention this is 0.5.2 and I heard it has a bug relating to this...
