The "Not Authorized" problem !

Post by duddy67 »

Hi,

Since I replaced Pcmanfm .0.5 version with the 0.9.7 version, I have an
"Not Authorized" pop up message each time I want to open an USB key,
CDrom or the root system files from Pcmanfm.

I read few posts about it but I get no result.
-Tried to edit org.freedesktop.udisk.policy (type "yes" everywhere) but it didn't worked.
-Replaced startlxde with ck-launch-session startlxde in:

Code: Select all

/etc/lxdm/Xsession
/usr/share/xsessions/LXDE.desktop
but no effect.
I even removed the

Code: Select all

@/usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 line

in autostart file but the "Not Authorized" pop up is still here.

So I'm wondering if it's a policykit or a Pcmanfm problem or both of them.
Any idea ?

Thanks for advance

I found another clue.
If i insert a cdrom (all applications are closed, no pcmanfm running of course), the popup "Not Authorized" message
appears just the same.
So, any idea where this pb could come from ?

Yes I did, but solutions which are proposed don't work for me.
I'm on a i386 system with Ubuntu server 10.4 and LXDE.
May I missed something ?
