Hello!
I'm using pcmanfm with great satisfaction since very long time...
Today I've upgraded ubuntu to maverick and find the new 0.9.7 version. After a few researches I could manage to set my desktop and icons up, but... the desktop covers any application window! It looks like it sits on the top layer and the applications lay down on a lower one.
Having got a two screen pc I've set the desktop to extend over them. If I "alt + click" on the main screen I can move the desktop with the icons and see the apps below. This behaviour only works on the main screen, the secondary one does not cover windows or applets, until I drag the main over it (with alt + click).
I'll upload a screenshot to describe better...
My configuration is: Ubuntu maverick + pekwm + pcmanfm + cairo-dock
pcmanfm --desktop and pekwm
pcmanfm --desktop and pekwm

Re: pcmanfm --desktop and pekwm
Ok... Not a pcmanfm problem, I tried an old version and the problm is still there. Then I removed pekwm 0.1.12.x and installed pekwm 0.1.11.x from lucid repository ( https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/i386/pekwm/0.1.11-1 ) and everything got at the right place.
