Trash bin?

Post by fullmetalgerbil »

So, when I delete a file using PCMan is it automatically rm'd-or does it go to some kind of trash folder? I'm just asking to make sure, as I haven't been able to locate any trash bin and I just want to know if I'm missing something. Actually, I'd prefer that if I click "delete" the file just gets nuked, period, without hanging around in some trash bin purgatory. But, like I said, I just want to make sure.
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Currently there is no trash bin support in PCManFM.

I'd really like the trash can though.

Any idea on how to create a trash can on LXDE?

When I click on the trash can icon the folder trash:/// shows nothing. But I can check in terminal that there are files in my Trash folder.

Maybe there is some wrong trash.desktop file somewhere?

Could you help me?

The trash folder is at .local/share/Trash/files. It should contain same files as what you see clicking on "Trash" in the pcmanfm places menu: trash:///.
