replace pcmanfm with nautilus

Post by Albert »

I have just installed Mint 10 LXDE.
1. How do I turn off tabs in 0.9.7? I have no use for a tabs-only file manager.
2. I have installed Nautilus with Synaptic and replaced "pcmanfm" with "nautilus" in the Panel Preferences, but it has no effect. I'm still stuck with pcmanfm.
3. Nautilus does not appear in the menu. Why?

I just added another taskbar to the top of my screen in LXDE and added Thunar to it (I have it set as autohide in preferences) . I run AntiX core so LXDE is the only Windows Manager I use.
