Can I use PcManFM on Ubuntu and CentOS?

Post by pstein »

Sorry for this newbie question:

Can I use the PcManFM on Ubuntu and CentOS (both with Gnome) as well?

Or is PcManFM absolutely tied to LXDE?

If it is possible: How exactly can I install them over there?

PCmanFM is in Ubuntus software center/repositories in Ubuntu.

Below is a 64bit rpm package of pcmanfm for centOS, If running 32 bit CentOS. Don't install it.

Here is the 32 bit rpm package if running 32 bit CentOS.

For CentOS. The install instructions are on the page I linked to under the Install How To button.
