When I click on an executable in pcmanfm, it opens a window and I have to click again on Execute to run the exec.
Is there a way to change this behaviour to simplify life, having the exec run directly when clicked on ?
After all, if I wanted to do something else, I would right-click on it, not click....
Running shell scripts from pcmanfm
Re: Running shell scripts from pcmanfm
that's a tricky one.
some file managers have this option (execute by default) - but i don't think pcmanfm has it.
if it's a script you use often, you can create a .desktop file pointing to the script. this will execute by default iirc.
call back if you need help with that.

Re: Running shell scripts from pcmanfm
You should write a feature request into pcmanfm tracker so it may have a chance to be implemented.
