Hi:
Thank you very much for this fabulous piece of software!!!!!
I use a debian testing computer and recently installed lxde. When I connect a device (a usb memory stick for example), I can see it in pcmanfm and when I doble click on it, pcmanfm mounts it for me
My question is, can pcmanfm show device icons on my desktop like it shows in the file manager window (like gnome does)???
Thank you in advance!!!
Achlys
Show devices on desktop
Re: Show devices on desktop
i want similar function too ... maybe we can inspire from thunar-volman:
debian package info:
Description: Thunar extension for volumes management
The Thunar Volume Manager is an extension for the Thunar file manager,
which enables automatic management of removable drives and media.
http://www.gnomefiles.org/app.php/thunar-volman
The advantage of Thunar Volume Manager over other solutions (like
gnome-volume-manager or ivman) is that it does not require an additional
daemon to be running in the users desktop session, which means it is a
very lightweight solution. In addition, the Thunar Volume Manager
smoothly integrates into the Thunar file manager and the Xfce desktop.
