lxde-logout dont works

When i have the following row

Code: Select all

exec startlxde

into my .xinitrc file, lxde-logout works fine, but when i change the row in

Code: Select all

exec ck-launch-session startlxde

only the logout item works, while when i click over the other items (reboot, shutdown, etc) nothing works.
Why? Some ideas? How i can solve?

Probably best to ask your distro for help. Could be a protection problem. If you run the newest lxsession, it will not display the buttons if you don't have the privilege to do the action. Which is probably not what you wanted either.

There will be more information needed like what distro it is, what display manager you are using, and if you have another desktop environment, whether it works in that one.

- distro: sabayon 5.2
- display manager : xdm
- desktop environment: only lxde
something else?
Some ideas?

Once again, please ask your distro for help and re-evaluate why you feel it necessary to use ck-launch-session.

I asked them but nobody replied me and i have always the same problem that i cant solve because nobody knows something to tell me...
Help me please.
