I've installed Lubuntu 10.04 and is trying to find something like the gdm, so that I can shift convinent between autologin and with password. Crunchbang Linux is using gdm so perkaps that is the best "tool" for this function.
Please advise if the is an option?
I have been reading some more and found this.
http://wiki.lxde.org/en/LXDM
But the LXDM doesn't look as if it going to fill my request. (LXDM seams to be used in Lubuntu.)
Perhaps my question was not clear enought.
I'm trying to find a GUI for my convinece. To switch on/off of auto login.
GDM option for Lubuntu 10.04
Re: GDM option for Lubuntu 10.04
Hello, have a look at Linuxmint LXDE version. There they seems to use the Autologin LXDM.
Another distro where I could test the on en off button on autologin was in Ubuntu 11.10 if you select the Accounts.

In Fedora, /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf controls autologin - looks like it's CLI only.
