lxsession killed on any X app crash

Post by gbulfon »

Hi,

we have lxde+openbox+lxsession+cariodock etc running on our beta XStreamOS Desktop (illumos based) for some months now.
People likes it a lot, but a big issue remains that I can't seem to understand: every time an X application crashes core-dumping for any internal reason, all the session is killed,
together with all the other running applications, going back to the graphical login screen.
How can I track why this is happening, and how may I just let openbox (or lxsession) track application crash and issue some kind of "application error" window, leaving the
session intact?

thanx for any help

Gabriele.
