Removing Lock screen from LXDE-Logout menu

Postby Peregrine » Wed Jan 02, 2019 2:58 pm

I'd like to remove at least Lock screen from LXDE-Logout menu (the only things I need are Log out, Shut down, Reboot) .
Someone appearantly posted a similar question, see https://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=8539&p=13810
but I don't appear to have a "org.freedesktop.upower.policy" file. What I do have are these files under/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/

Code: Select all

com.mesonbuild.install.policy
org.freedesktop.consolekit.policy
org.freedesktop.policykit.policy
org.gtk.vfs.file-operations.policy
org.x.xf86-video-intel.backlight-helper.policy

The 2nd file (consolekit.policy) reads:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE policyconfig PUBLIC
 "-//freedesktop//DTD PolicyKit Policy Configuration 1.0//EN"
 "http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/PolicyKit/1.0/policyconfig.dtd">

<!--
Policy definitions for ConsoleKit
-->

<policyconfig>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.stop">
    <description>Stop the system</description>
    <message>System policy prevents stopping the system</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>yes</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.stop-multiple-users">
    <description>Stop the system when multiple users are logged in</description>
    <message>System policy prevents stopping the system when other users are logged in</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.restart">
    <description>Restart the system</description>
    <message>System policy prevents restarting the system</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>yes</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.restart-multiple-users">
    <description>Restart the system when multiple users are logged in</description>
    <message>System policy prevents restarting the system when other users are logged in</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.suspend">
    <description>Suspend the system</description>
    <message>System policy prevents suspending the system</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>yes</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.suspend-multiple-users">
    <description>Suspend the system when multiple users are logged in</description>
    <message>System policy prevents suspending the system when other users are logged in</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.hibernate">
    <description>Hibernate the system</description>
    <message>System policy prevents hibernating the system</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>yes</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.hibernate-multiple-users">
    <description>Hibernate the system when multiple users are logged in</description>
    <message>System policy prevents hibernating the system when other users are logged in</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.hybridsleep">
    <description>Hybrid sleep the system (sleep + hibernate)</description>
    <message>System policy prevents hybrid sleeping the system</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>yes</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>

  <action id="org.freedesktop.consolekit.system.hybridsleep-multiple-users">
    <description>Hybrid sleep the system (sleep + hibernate) when multiple users are logged in</description>
    <message>System policy prevents hybrid sleeping the system when other users are logged in</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>
</policyconfig>

The third file (vfs.file-operations.policy) reads:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE policyconfig PUBLIC "-//freedesktop//DTD PolicyKit Policy Configuration 1.0//EN" "http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/PolicyKit/1.0/policyconfig.dtd">
<policyconfig>
  <vendor>GVfs</vendor>
  <vendor_url>http://git.gnome.org/browse/gvfs</vendor_url>
  <action id="org.gtk.vfs.file-operations-helper">
    <description>Perform file operations</description>
    <message>Authentication is required to perform file operations</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_any>no</allow_any>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
    <annotate key="org.freedesktop.policykit.exec.path">/usr/libexec/gvfsd-admin</annotate>
  </action>
  <action id="org.gtk.vfs.file-operations">
    <description>Perform file operations</description>
    <message>Authentication is required to perform file operations</message>
    <defaults>
      <allow_any>no</allow_any>
      <allow_inactive>no</allow_inactive>
      <allow_active>auth_admin_keep</allow_active>
    </defaults>
  </action>
</policyconfig>

Anyway, I don't see a "lock screen" option listed in the 2nd file, so I doubt I can remove the lock screen using this file ?
