my pic resolution unacceptably gone wrong

after an installation that i made to additional packages for xscreensaver ....i notice that my pictures on facebook and youtube ...lost their clarity ...
what can i do to fix it ???

is it possible to cause this problem a usb stick broadband device ???

Using a USB Broadband device would not cause that if it was working fine before the installation of the application. Have you updated your system?

maybe the installation of xscreen saver additional packages...has caused the problem ...

i notice that affects only my browser's environment...meanwhile i can see clearly my thumbnails of my files in hard drives in the pcmanfm environment

How hard would it be ... to test your hypothesis ... by simply ... uninstalling those packages?
