GPicView and print option

It is very strange, but I discovered that I cannot print from GPicView. There is no option "Print" at all. Just wondering, why?
No one ever implemented it. Software features do not magically appear without effort.
There is a Google Summer of Code project that I understand has this as one of the deliverables.
