lxdm change theme
Hi, is there an easy way to change the theme of lxdm? I'm using version 0.4.1-2 on Arch.

It depends what easy way menas for you. For me the easiest way is to manualy edit /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf and change the name of the theme.
Themes are stored in /usr/share/lxdm/themes, look for the names of themes there. By default there is only one theme stored there - Industrial, at least in my distribution (Archlinux), then I whish you good luck in searching the web for more or maybe creating one

You can change the theme of Openbox. Since you mentioned Arch, here's some information from their wiki:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Op ... appearance
You can use openbox-themes for already created themes or design your own using obtheme (http://xyne.archlinux.ca/projects/obtheme/) also mentioned at the Arch wiki.
You can also change the theme of applications that use the GTK+ screen library using tools like lxappearance, gtk-chtheme or switch2 as mentioned at the wiki ( https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Op ... GTK_themes ). Search for packages with gtk engines such as murrine and cleanice. They'll include other themes you can use with GTK+ applications.

Re: lxdm change theme
I have recently changed the background and removed Lubuntu Logo and replaced with my Ubuntu Forum Avatar. However, I'm interested to learn how to change the whole theme.
Will have a look at these links ... thanks for sharing
