Replace terminal with aterm or eterm

Replace terminal with aterm or eterm

Is there a way to substitute the use of lxterminal with either aterm or eterm? Have tried using the panel settings and they are just ignored.

I replaced lxterminal with roxterm: PcManFM->Edit->Preferences->Advanced
