Great work! Thank you very much!

Hi,

I hope to be here in the correct section for posting ;-)

I'm using LXDE with Debian Wheezy on an old Dell Inspiron 2200 with a 60GB HD and 1255MB of RAM.

It works great! You guys made a beautiful job!!! But there is something I don't like. The file-manager doesn't remember my settings. I don't like the feature "trash". Every new start of the program the trash is available again. Another thing is the manager shows the size of files about ~10% larger then it really is. I guess it has something to do with different opportunities to show the sizes of files. But I don't find a setting for that as it is possible with KDE :-( Too bad is: In about 80% I refresh the view the file-manager crashes. I don't find a hint why :-(

Now I'm using dolphin as file-manager. It works great! For me it is a "must have" to split the view of the program. Maybe the program is an opportunity because LXDE will use QT in the future?

Maybe it could be interessting for developers: Programs I use which are not in Debian-repositories: Truecrypt and from Samsung the Unified-Linux-Driver.

ciao

Welcome to the LXDE forum. If you have comments about LXDE or future requests, this is not the place to post them. The developers seldom log in here. See the second post at viewtopic.php?f=32&t=575
It is the second announcement at the head of this section.
