I found an old incomplete WM from the past called wyodesktop. It started as a project to create a window manager or desktop in wxwidgets. I wonder if something like this could be ported over to Wayland and then built up. From the looks of the files it looks like theres not too much there, however I don't know C and I'm not sure how I would change out the X dependencies for Wayland ones. Also theres no way I would be able to test it if I could. I had the idea to port it because I think it could help people out but are there any resources to figure out how to learn how to do it?
