Can I output a single 3960 by 1080 across two displays?

I want to go F11 in firefox or chromium and have the fullscreen window stretch across both my monitors. It's possible to do this in compiz, apparently, but I haven't found any solution in lxde. I'm using arandr at the moment but is there another tool I can use?

tobiasnash, i daresay openbox would be responsible for sth like that.
unfortunately i cannot help you further other than directing you to the
openbox wiki.
once you find what you need from there, we can help you implement it.

You can also use "Grandr".
