Temperature monitor applet does not appear by lxde start

Post by luboss »

Hello all,

Most probably this is a bug, but I would like to ask if you have the same problem.
I added temperature monitor to lxpanel so I can monitor my CPU temp. (removed my internal cooler becaue it got broken). Everything looks fine until I restart the lxpanel (or system). It does not load at the startup. It seems to be the in the applets list (and also in ~/.config/lxpanel/LXDE/panels/panel) but I cannot see it on the panel. So the applet works only within the lxde session in which it was added. Each time I start lxde it has to be added manualy and configured again.
Other applets work perfect. Btw. version I'm using is lxpanel-0.5.3 and I don't have the older versions of it in my package repository anymore :-( I cannot try them out.

If I start lxpanel manualy from cmd I can see such output:
** (lxpanel:7981): DEBUG: cache file_name = /home/luboss/.cache/menus/bc1faab5e54d8ac73fa10bbec4c6a020
Critical: [103]
(where 103 is my critical temperature probably taken from /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/TZ3/trip_points)

Please, could you try yourself if it does the same so I can report the bug?

Thanks
