I'm learning LXDE on ArchLinuxARM (Raspberry 2). Is it normal, that when I try to start LXDE with 'startlxde' command from the login shell, it doesn't start? No error messages, just several info messages and blinking cursor. Something like this:
Code: Select all
$ startlxde
Session is LXDE
DE is LXDE
log directory: /home/al/.cache/lxsession/LXDE
log path: /home/al/.cache/lxsession/LXDE/run.log
_
I read somewhere, that startx is not needed with modern DE. Do some configuration files/settings need to be present for startlxde to work?
Thanks.
Albert.
