Post by mattt »

hallo people

I'm running lubuntu.16.04

When I press alt+f pull down menu of 'file' appears.

How to disable it. I need this combination within my terminal application.

lubuntu-rc.xml does not contain any 'a-f' or 'w-f' keybindings defined.

please help

are you saying that alt+f opens the file menu of the terminal?

i just tried on lxterminal 0.2.0, and if i remove the menu bar (edit => preferences => display => hide menu bar) then the alt-f key combo does nothing.
would that be sufficient?

alternatively, which terminal application requires alt+f? maybe it is possible to change that instead?
