Hi friends,
I've come into ownership of a more established PC which is running LXDE just pleasantly. My concern is, despite the fact that my TP-LINK USB dongle is recorded when I write the "lsusb" charge in the terminal (as a Ralink RT5572 gadget), it has no driver and subsequently I can't get to my system.
What might be the most ideal approach to explain this specific issue please?
(the distro is Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS if that is applicable)

Re: RT5572 driver in LXDE
Welcome to the LXDE forums. In the first place the support for Ubuntu 12.04 ended months ago and if you are using Lubuntu 12.04, it ended years ago. If you want to continue using the computer with some distro that uses LXDE on it you need to do a fresh install. The current LTS version of Lubuntu is 16.04.3. The current version of Lubuntu is 17.10. There are of course dozens of others that use the Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment.
