Live disk

Post by KrazyKyngeKorny »

I would like someone to make a live disk for L:ubuntu 14.04 with the following:
Standard installation minus MTpaint
with Kolourpaint, TGIF, MM3D, pdf shuffler,
shutter, and Qalculate.

I tried, but, I can't figure out how to get it to boot.

With this, I could restore those old E-machines
to uselfulness by bringing the RAM up to 1Gig.

If willing, please reply to

Welcome to the LXDE forums. You are aware of course that Lubuntu 14.04 has reached its End of Life back in 2017

I know. That's why I want the disk. Those old machines can't handle the newer versions.
But, with wnat I requested they can be useful. Not everyone can afford the latest hardweare.
1Gig ram, and they are usable.

two things:
  1. the solution for matured hardware is to run an up-to-date system that caters to such situations, and not deliberately run an outdated version. usually antiX is recommended.
  2. you won't find anybody who will make a live disk tailored to your wishes just for you

Install an up-to-date openbox distro, remove and add apps to your desire and remaster. Sparky Linux Minimalhttps://sparkylinux.org/download/stable is a good example, and has its own remastering program https://sparkylinux.org/sparky-backup-sys-20180607/. Such systems are way lighter than any Lubuntu system.
