What is a compositor?
Following icons get messed up:
Ethernet connection
Input Method indicator, ibus-Mozc
ClipIt
This happens to all users, system wide.
What I did was that I was trying to install CdEmu but it just didn't work so I gave up and uninstalled.
I had noticed CdEmu also had indicator, since then this symptoms started.

especially after i already answered you the first time, and you have not reacted to that.
what are you hoping to achieve? your question is too vague.
