Colors from some apps(Skype, by example) on Ubuntu with LXDE

Post by soncastro »

Hi everybody!

I have a problem with colors from some apps, Skype by example.
Another apps, Visual Studio and Chrome, I used your option "disabled hardware acceleration" and this solved.
I looking for a generic solution. Solve to whatever application the colors problem.
I attached a print screen from my Skype app to show the colors.

I do not use Ubuntu, but take a look at the available Themes. In LXDE, those can be viewed and changed using the Openbox Configuration Manager.

Skype is closed source and not really part of "our" Linux. I have no idea how it determines its GUI colors.

Yeah, it may be an Ubuntu issue. I'm experimenting with different distros as to see which one I like best, and Skype appears fine under Linux Mint and Debian.
