New in LXDE

Post by koulaxizis »

Hello! My name is Chris and i live in Greece (sorry for my English :( ).

I installed ubuntu 9.04 "bare bones" with LXDE environment and i have some questions...

1.Where is the trashcan? How can i delete permanently the files i don't want?

2. How can i edit the main menu? I want to add sub-folders and arrange some items...

3. What about greek support for LXDE? Are there greek menus someway?

Thank you! :)

I think no trash under pcmanfm.

For the trash other files browsers, go => /home/your name /.local/share/Trash.

If i am right, delete command under pcmanfm is really delete. No trash

Hi

1. There is no trashcan at the moment, if you delete it's gone permanently.

2. Have a look at the forum, you'll find many answers, how to do this, there.

3. I think, that there is a greek translation of LXDE, but maybe it's only in svn? Which versions are you using?

Hi

You must download the svn sources, and compile and install them. Have a look at this instruction.
