Amarok runs very slowly under LXDE

I seem to be having a bit of a problem with using Amarok under LXDE. It loads fine, but it seems to take ages between me giving input (such as a keyboard shortcut) and it receiving it, not to mention the GUI is largely unusable (I can call it up and minimise it, but it never refreshes). I have not had this problem in my other DE's (E17, KDE 3). Just curious if anybody knows what could be the problem?

Did you start the KDE services before starting amarok? It may depend on them.

Hmm, good idea. Adding kdeinit to startlxde sorted it just fine. Strange that it the same isn't needed with E17, but oh well!
