I'm trying out LXDE for the first time on Ubuntu 9.10, and really liking it. But there's one little thing that's bugging me: if I have knotes or xpad running, and I click the minimize all windows button, it hides all my notes. In other DEs, the notes stay visible even when other windows are minimized.
What causes this different behavior? I there a way around it? I'm open to swapping out the window manager or whatever component is responsible.
I like LXDE but I'm really addicted to my sticky notes -- may have to go back to XFCE if I can't solve this.
