Is There Laptop Battery Applet?

I unplugged my laptop and I didn't notice any applet appear showing I'm discharging my battery and when it's plugged in I don't see anything showing my battery charge at all.

Is there a applet for the battery?

There is a battery applet in LXDE.

Right-click the panel on the screen, select Add/Remove Panel Items, click Add, select Battery Monitor, click Add.
