Running obconf from the CLI allows me to configure the desktop pager to have multiple desktops (I prefer about five or six). For my interface, I prefer a single vertical panel on the left hand side and no other panels (no horizontal bottom panel).
In the vertical panel on the left hand side, desktop pager currently displays two columns. Where can I find settings to change that to a single column? Can I configure the height of each row?
thanks,

Re: obconf & desktop pager configuration
Right now, the height of each desktop depiction is equal to the icon size set in Panel Preferences/Geometry/Icon Size and the width is whatever is needed to depict the aspect ratio of your monitor. The plugin, like all other grid layouts in the panel, uses whatever space is available perpendicular to the panel orientation to lay out as many elements of its substructure as will fit. The only way you could play with this is to adjust the height of all icons.
If you have any other comments on vertical panels, I would be interested to hear. I spent a lot of time last summer making them work.
