I have decided to resurrect my old netbook so I did some research and installed Lubuntu v. 18.04.3. with Linux desktop LXDE (as far as I know it is very spec-friendly). I am really new to whole Linux based systems and need some help but since this is a very specific inquiry regarding the Tor Browser, I'll make it short.
It's not working. At all...
I tried installing it from tor project website:
1.) I download the package, extract it with Archive Manager and try to click "setup" icon.. nothing happens
2.) I try right-click and open with GDebi Package installer... it says that the file is corrupt
Tried tuts to install from Terminal:
- Did everything right, managed to get icons of Tor Browser & Tor Browser Launch Settings in "Internet apps in menu"...clicking any of them, nothing happens.
I would be thankful for any tip, information or direction in which to look, in order to solve this issue.
Thanks
Tor browser not working
Re: Tor browser not working
The download probably didn't succeed.
Have you confirmed that it's complete, and that you downloaded the right file?
