Hey guys..............
I’m running LXDE on a lightweight Linux distribution, and I’ve encountered an issue that I’m hoping someone here can help with. After booting up my system, the LXDE panel doesn’t display at all. I can access everything via the terminal, but it’s a bit frustrating not having the usual panel at the top or bottom of the screen.
I’ve tried restarting the panel using the command lxpanelctl restart, but that didn’t solve the issue. I’ve also checked the configuration files, but I’m not sure what could be causing the problem. The desktop itself is functional, and other elements seem to work fine, so it might just be a panel-specific issue.
Has anyone else experienced this or have suggestions for what I could try next to get the panel back up and running? I’d really appreciate any help or troubleshooting tips you can share!
Thanks so much in advance!

Welcome to the lxde forums. What distro do you have the DE installed on? Did you download the DE separately or was it included in the initial download of the Linux distribution?

You could try resetting the LXDE panel settings by deleting or renaming the configuration files in ~/.config/lxpanel/.Novaliya wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 4:09 am Hey guys..............
