Keyboard driver for Polytonic Greek (HELP!)

Post by M_Mynaardt »

Hi there!

So far, I've not had much luck in trying to get drivers to allow me to type anything in Polytonic Greek. That would be fore assignments and quotes in Ancient Greek. And that's not the same as Modern Greek with minimal accents, this is the one with lots of accents.

I had no problem getting drivers added for Spanish and Esperanto. Does someone out there know how I could add a driver for Polytonic Greek? Right now I have two installs of LXDE; both are persistent installs on a USB-HDD. One is Mint 9 LXDE and the other is Peppermint One.

It's not urgent; I have these drivers and can type in Polytonic Greek well enough on my desktop PC (using Mint 10 with Gnome), and my Laptop (with ZevenOS using Xfce). But I would like to be able to have drivers on hand for LXDE too.

And whereas I don't have an LXDE system as the OS for one of my computers, I do rather like using LXDE from time to time. Nice and light and quick, it is!
