Code: Select all

[maces@mypc ~]$ uname -a
Linux archtower 2.6.31-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Nov 10 18:15:40 CET 2009 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 6.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
You see: "2.6.31-ARCH". It's a not really up2date version of Archlinux.

PS: Who finds the modification in the message :P
Hi Maces
Thanks for your continued support. These are the results and I would presume I'm using an older version.
What I have is PClinuxOS LXDE.

Linux localhost 2.6.26.8.tex3 #1 SMP Mon Jan 12 04:33:38 CST 2009 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz GNU/Linux

Where do I go from here??

I was hoping, that I would know how to solve the problem on your distro. But I have no experience with PCLINUXOS, sorry. Have you asked in the PCLINUXOS-Forums?
