Hi, sorry 4 my bad english.
I downloaded three new files to install new lxpanel (menu-cache, lxmenu-data and lxpanel).
I have debian so I get .deb package from source using these commands:
dh_make -s -n
./configure
debuil binary
I got three .deb files and installed them with dpkg -i packetname.
Then I restarted lxpanel butwith new panel I can't see lxde icon (start menu)... I can't start any apps, terminal doesn't work and I can only edit panel configuration but without getting lxde menu.
I tried reinstalling older lxpanel, then removing and purging menu-cache and lxmenu-data, then reinstalling lxde, but without success.
Please help me solve this problem and have a 0.3.99 lxpanel working!

I am working on Myah OS 3.1 sparrow and I to am having trouble with the new panel. First I have concerns about the menu caching. If it reads from it's cache then how will it know when a new desktop menu file has been added. But my bigger problem is some silly goose messed up the coding for the menu icon size. Most panels will let you use what ever length you want for the menu icon and simply lock in the hight to the panel. This is how lxpanel was and fbpanel and all but the old kde one. But someone has gone and messed it up. Can I get a patch to fix this. If you don't know what I mean here is a picture of how the menu in the panel used to look.

And here is what it looks like now. As you can see this is no good.

I was beginning to wonder if I was getting ignored. Since I posted that a week or 2 ago and I check several times a day waiting for a reply. I was under the impression that the topic was "LXPanel 0.4.0 beta was released. Please get it tested!" If it is I posted a problem above in 0.4.0 Beta and would like a patch for it.
