Wish all is ok with you :)
Everything is cool and OK. Dealing with a foot infection on both feet but under control so far.
Why I don't Lubuntu?

Probably because I am a distro team member for AntiX and MacPup Linux. I have nothing against Lubuntu.
Just never got around to it I guess. I like AntiX about as much as you like Lubuntu. There is no end of life in a AntiX
install either, like in Lubuntu.
Also. We now have AntiX running from bootup to Desktop and nothing open idling at

http://antix.freeforums.org/post27446.html#p27446

If you look at my inxi readout
Memory: 167.8/492.0MB
from http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?p=47778#p47778

with terminal, chromium browser with numerous tabs open, conky running, 2 LXpanels running . You can see why I like lean and mean. My AntiX 64bit test install boots up to 45MB of ram to a Desktop (Fluxbox) We switched from using PCmanFM to
SpaceFM also.

We were in your neck of the woods the first week of january (Apline to be exact). Yes indeed. Got almost six inches of snow and decided to stay an extra day just to make sure TDOT had the roads nice and clean. Almost decided to run up to see your cycles but the road conditions were not the best. Anyway, sorry to hear about the infections. That shouldn't keep you off the Internet. Sorry for hijacking the topic. I think it probably should be marked as solved anyway.
