Yes, the term "widget" confused me as well. I'm sure there is a technical reason for using the term.

I don't seem to get this bug in LXDE, no matter which theme (light or Dark) I use. Although I have replaced Openbox with Xubuntu's xfwm4 window manager, so perhaps that's why.
