I encountered strange behaviour on LXDE from Ubuntu Karmic (0.4.3)
Every file in folder have the same icon like there wasn't program for opening it.
I have installed programs like GPicView, LXMusic, Audacious


But when i'm trying to open any file I get "Open with..." dialog window



I can open it when i'm choosing the program from the second tab but i want to do this by doubleclick.
Default program is not updated and i have to do it everytime i want to open file.

I had the same problem on my Archlinux machine and had to downgrade my "shared-mime-info" package which fixed it.

Not sure about how to do that under ubuntu, sorry.

It is fixed in pcmanfm from svn. Compile it manually, but see this forum http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=82786 before compiling, svn version has a bug with Catalan po file.
