Wireless broken after installing LXDE on Ubuntu 9.10 -SOLVED
Hi all, I just recently installed LXDE on my new installation of Ubuntu 9.10. Everything works great except for the wireless internet. Wicd cannot find my wireless access point, but the default gnome network manager could. My wireless AP is also detected when I use "sudo iwlist scan". I've tried to install lxnm to see if that would work but I'm getting some dependency problems. Any suggestions?

Re: Wireless broken after installing LXDE on Ubuntu 9.10
I solved the problem, I uninstalled wicd and reinstalled the old network-manager that I used to have from gnome. I then opened up terminal and ran "sudo nano /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart" and added a new line for nm-applet, after that I just logged out and back in and I was back into wireless business.
