I have downloaded the LXDE iso live cd and it runs on my machine but how do I install it on my harddisk?

If you want Debian you can use http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/relea ... e-CD-1.iso

OpenSuSE 11.1 Live-CD: http://www.steamedfish.org/downloads/ (nit sure if there is a 11.2 version)
Fedora 12 LXDE spin will be released on Tuesday: http://spins.fedoraproject.org/
Nightly versions of the CD are available at http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/ni ... oses/lxde/
