How do I move the icons on the lxde? How do I place some icons at the destop ? I like best to have images at my desktop like my browsers as firefox, opera, google chrome, etc. Generaly I click on the left button of the mouse to put at desktop with the most of desktop managers like gnome and kde. But I'm a fresh user on the lxde. I would like to learn the easy way the how-to ? I will appreciate your support and hints.
cheers.

hi
how do you move icons?....no idea atm
2) easy icons depends on what is currently available .....meaning does icon and executable desktop already exist or do you need to create it?
look in /usr/share/applications......you hopefully will find perfectly working icons (with executable) desktop entries.
I am right handed so left click within that folder actions the icon.
Next....for me, I do not attempt to copy and drag into /home/name/Desktop....instead I right hand click and copy into clipboard and then paste into ~/desktop
3) if icon/desktop entry does not exist either right hand click existing one and overwrite it with new stuff or create a file and save it with new name.
AFAIK if the user can run /usr/bin stuff....it should be ok to name only the executable and not the full pathway.
eg

4) I use pcmanfm....I bookmark /usr/share/appliations so I can click and move between it and my Desktop...my only tip
------
I am sure more experienced users will advise soon.
