TeamSpeak 2

I am having a problem getting TeamSpeak 2 to play sound or capture voice.
I have followed many guides online and have not come up with a viable solution.
A number of the guides point to artsd being the problem, but every time I kill the PID or stop it, it just restarts.

When I run this command I get the following: pa aux | grep artsd
root 4789 0.0 0.0 4204 700 pts/1 S+ 03:04 0:00

When I run this command I get the following: lsof | grep dsp
pulseaudi 3494 username mem REG 8,1 70508 6170 /usr/lib/libspeexdsp.so.1.5.0

When I run this command I get the following: ls *dsp* -la
/dev/dsp0 (I thought using this would work however it did not)

I have tried all of the following in TeamSpeak 2

OTHER
/dev/dsp
/dev/dsp0
/dev/dsp1
/dev/adsp
/dev/adsp0
/dev/adsp1
(of course non of these worked)

In the past I have not had any problems with KDE 3.5 to Current Live Distros getting TeamSpeak 2 to run. I thought I would give this Distro a shot ....

I plan on using my NetBook for remote administration for my families computers.
I have done remote administration many, many times however carrying around a desktop pc all the time makes no sense ... lol ...
I have used TeamSpeak for years with them in order to tell them exactly what I am doing, and why, (also to tell them to quit doing things they shouldn't be doing - like running under administrator).

Any help I can get here would be much appreciated.
