minimize window to panel slow

i am using the latest nvidia graphics drivers, dual-view (twinview) on archlinux with LXDE. whenever i minimize a window the minimize animation to the panel seems a bit slow. is there any way to speed this up?

You should raise this issue with your window manager. We do not supply a window manager. The involvement of LXDE is limited to supplying the screen coordinates of where the animation ends up.
