Opacity settings does not have an effect

Post by wildzero »

Opacity settings does not have an effect for the background color.

With any opacity value <255, it's like having a opacity value 0.

I use LXTerminal 0.1.7 from Debian GNU/Linux squeeze/sid

It happend since i have done the last aptitude full-upgrade. Befor that, it was working.

There was an issue in the Radeon driver that was fixed, see http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1421
The background is being drawn by VTE, so if there is something wrong, it is their issue.
If none of the above, what window manager is this with. You need a compositing window manager to get transparency.
