Directory menu lists the files, not only folders?

would it be possible to have the directory menu showing the files, as well as the folders? Or maybe anybody knows any launcher that does so? Thanx for any help guys;)

ok I successfully found such a thing and it's called a Cairo Dock and is a typical linux app launcher, one of the popular ones I guess:)
very nice feature, lists the files just like in WIndows:)
