Hi all,
I installed lubuntu on my vintage Omnibook Xe2 PII and 256MB ram. I see with top that 170/256MB of ram is used . Is it normal for a lightweight OS? Loading speed is good but it's easy that the system lesan on the HD and it loses speed.

LXDE is only a small part of your system. What distribution are you using? Maybe you can use a more lightweight one.
